Our business is by referral only. Simply put, we spend our time and energy servicing our clients, not soliciting new ones. Contrary to the norm, we do not door knock or cold call or send you cute little refrigerator magnets. We never bulk mail and you won’t get any pre-printed postcards.

What does this mean to you? It means we’re there for your property, your needs, and your unique requirements. It also means we can work in an extended venue. We’ve brought or sold property for clients in Pasadena, La Crescenta, South Pasadena, Altadena, Arcadia, Temple City, Monterey Park, Highland Park, Toluca Woods, Burbank, Glendale, Bradbury, Covina, Eagle Rock, Mount Washington, El Sereno, Glendora, San Gabriel, Sierra Madre, La Canada, and the list goes on. No, we’re not experts in the Westside or Palos Verdes, but you can bet we know someone is, and, when we find the right agent for you, we will continue to closely monitor the transaction. With our experience and contacts, we’ve helped clients find homes from San Luis Obispo to New York State.

In addition to our efforts, we also have a staff scheduling advertising, making appointments, and monitoring showings. Should you or your clients require it, we have an in-house Escrow company, lender and a Title Representative on call.

Patti is a California native, active in Real Estate for the last twenty years. During that time, she has been a member of the Elite President’s Club reserved for Coldwell Banker’s top agents. In 1993, Patti joined the prestigious San Marino Office.

In 2007, Patti and her partner Brenda Thompson-Knox embarked on a special approach to their business. With their years of experience and satisfied past clients, Patti and Brenda decided to work primarily by referral. They felt that their talents could be better used focusing on qualified clients with the same sense of commitment. With that goal in mind, they set about making sure that each client and/or friend was contacted at least monthly. They did this sometimes with humor, sometimes with a need to be informative, sometimes just to impart a little “bon mot,” gleaned from their daily routines. They found it fulfilling (and fun) to stay in touch. They also found it to be successful for their clients. In addition to staying connected, Patti and Brenda have found a renewed passion about Real Estate and how it benefits the broader community. Their ethics are impeccable, their desire to be of service paramount, and their sense of fun infectious.

Brenda Thomson-Knox, a native of Savannah, Georgia, originally made her way west with dreams of a career in the arts. After a long and successful career in musical theatre and television, she began looking for a profession that allowed for a less itinerant schedule. Still wanting to be in a “people business”, Brenda actually “discovered” real estate while selling her own home. Today, more than a decade later, Brenda and her partner Patti Proudfit enjoy a reputation as dedicated professionals who understand the business of real estate as well as the all important emotional aspects of buying and selling a home. They personify the description of Marketing Consultants.

First associated with the Fred Sands Company, Brenda was the frequent recipient of that company’s prestigious Exemplary Service Award. Presented to the agent who best exemplifies service to clients as well as fellow agents, the award symbolizes Brenda’s dedication to those she works with and those she welcomes as clients.

Active in her community, Brenda and her husband are ardent supporters of the Pasadena Humane Society and members of the La Canada Flintridge Country Club.
